Noordvaal Market Agents was established in 1987 by Protea Market Agents. During that time they were selling tomatoes and onions. Mr Deon Vermeulen purchased Noordvaal Market Agents (Pty) Ltd in 2000. The sales personnel were transferred to Protea Market Agents. As a result Mr Deon Vermeulen obtained a license with no personnel. This was a challenge but not deemed as a negative by Mr Vermeulen.
A new management team was put together and on 2 October 2002 the newly appointed team started.
A change in Directors since 2002 resulted into a winning concept and in 2009 Noordvaal Market Agents Close Corporation changed to the registered company Noordvaal Market Agents (Pty) Ltd (2009/017676/07).
In 2019 Noordvaal Market Agents became part of Grow Fresh Produce Agents, one of the biggest fresh produce marketing agencies in South Africa.
Noordvaal Market Agents (Pty) Ltd is deemed to be one of the mayor role players at the Tshwane Fresh Produce Market.
